Hello! My name is Will Armero. I am a long distance endurance athlete, artist, and medical student. I have creating pottery since my first year of high school in 2009. Early on, my work was focused on more abstract forms, influenced by fine art and the famous early American potters like Peter Voulkous and Ron Nagle. Now, I am enchanted by more functional forms such as mugs, bowls, and simple cups. I look up to potter’s such as Christa Assad, Didem Mert, and Chris Long. One day I plan to create a home studio to have easier access to my creative process. Until then, I will always be a studio member throughout medical school and anesthesiology residency.
